Is it a CDX (the hardware) or a CDX pro (the cartridge allowing JAP or US CD-rom running on an european mega-CD? ) in that case I would be interested depending the price you'll ask...

Do you have a price in mind? I've always wanted a cdx as it would take up less room than my X'eye and would look good beside my Multimega.

I do but you dont live in the US so its gonna cost you a shit ton more. I want $100. You living outside of the us pretty much means its gonna cost you $140 to 150 because international shipping is insane.

Shit, never thought of that. $100 is a good price too, I would have been interested but you're right, the cost of shipping will be around $40 or more which is outside my budget. Thanks anyway dude.

Does CDX feature the same regional lock-sh*t as the Mega Drive and Mega CD? I mean, I assume yours only runs american games and all that, right?

The CDX is the same as the rest of the Genesis consoles. It is only regionally locked because the cart slot is too small for the game to fit. If the game is not regionally locked you can play it if you widen the cart slot (which most people are not going to do on a rare CDX). My suggestion is to use a game genie as a pass-through. There is also game genie codes for every regionally locked game to work on a US console.

The only US console that accepts Mega Drive carts without modifying the cart slot is the X'Eye. But even with the X'Eye if the cart itself is regionally locked you will have to either region mod the console or use a Game Genie with codes to get it to work.

$100 for a nicely working CDX is not a bad deal at all. I've seen them sell for more than that. Especially if it has the proper AC Adapter, A/V Cables, controllers, and a few games. A complete CDX like that will sell for $150+ easily.

What all does yours include Clessy? Does it have the official AC Adapter?

It will run any NTSC game for the most part. This is done simply but cut the corners of the slots to let Japanese games fit in them. The cd drive will only run American games. You can however burn and patch your Cd games to any region you want. Only thing you're not gonna be able to play is Pal cart games.

Offical controls and sega psu.

Nice considering that the power supply alone is worth around $30 that would basically make it a $70 CDX, which is a pretty good deal if you ask me.

Really I have like about 9 official sega PSU. I didnt know sega brand ones went for more than 3rd parties. In fact I didnt even know they had 3rd parties. The 32x one has the weird end to it with the little yellow tip.

Well the official non-CDX/JVC X'Eye power supplies are not worth much. But if you have the original CDX or JVC power supplies they are worth a bit.
