Pier Solar at GameCity Nights

Hi everyone


I'm a bit of a lurker, sorry about that but I'd just like to announce that I'll be showing Pier Solar tomorrow night at GameCity Nights, http://gamecity.org, the monthly game culture evening in Nottingham UK. It's a great bill - we've also got Crytek showing off Crysis 2, and DoubleFine art director Lee Petty will be on the line to talk about his new title.

This came about from a casual email - I work at the business centre GameCity are based in, and so naturally when my Japanese Posterity edition arrived I took a few snaps and emailed the GameCity guys, together with a bit of backstory about where Pier Solar came from. They have an irregular segment called My Game, where volunteers show off favourite/important/significant games, so they immediately got onto me to show it off!

So, if anyone is in Nottingham tomorrow night get down to Antenna and help spread the love

Don't click on the gamecity.org link, that page has virus! My computer is now infected.

Ooo, that's bad. I'll let them know. In the meantime if you want to know more about GameCity check out Wikipedia http://http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gamecity - though that's predominantly about the yearly week long festival, rather than the monthly events.

I believe there will be video taken on the night so I'll try to grab a copy as soon as I can!

Can any mod please remove the link?
I got the virus to. My virus scanner (Avast) did not find it.
However it is easy to remove by hand. If your Windows is infected, restart it and hit the F8 key. Start in safe mode. Open Regedit and go to the key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce
There is a value now with some random letters. Thats the auto start of the virus. Check the path thats written there and delete it, then delete the value in the registry and restart your computer.

I send the file to the Avast people.
