Here are common issues found, not necessary related to Pier Solar at it could happen with other games as well :
Q. I got my Pier Solar cartridge but its not working at all or freeze time to time.
A. Three common issues :
- Dirty connector -> Clean the connector.
- Too weak power supply -> Try with another power supply.
- Defective megadrive/genesis -> Try with another megadrive/genesis (& another power supply if necessary)
Q. The game plays good but the SFX are mute when Mega-CD attached with my MegaDrive 1.
A. You forgot to connect the "mixing cable" and/or turn the volume to the max on the MD side.
Q. I got my Pier Solar cartridge but its not working with my 32x attached. Other games are playing fine.
A. Common issues :
- Dirty connectors -> Clean the connectors.
- Disconnected 32x ribbons -> The 32x has two internal ribbons that are known to disconnect by themselves with the time and will not let Pier Solar run (as well as other few games, then extend to all the games). You can fix it by plugging the ribbons again.
