Nice cable.... I've made one like this on my own, only I also added two RCA jacks in order to be able to connect it to the MEGACD I too, and use one cable for both.

It's the cable I always use with my japanese (first model) mega drive to connect it to my huge, ultra-heavy CRT.

Pure pleasure ;)

If only someone would ship me a euro tv with a scart port that accepted 110 power :(

For the 110 power, if I were you I would just use an external transformer. I play guitar and I do that for US guitar amps here in France.

For the TV, I'm sure you can find a good one on Ebay.
Try to find a used Bang & Olufsen TV, the best quality picture you will get from a CRT, and they come stock with SCART inputs, even in the US. They can be pricey but they're worth it.

I have one as my main gaming TV. It's from 1993 and the picture is still perfect, crystal-clear despite its age.

Here's one in NY for pick up only:

The game freezes at the "ignore the previous screen this game is not associated with SEGA" whenever I put it in my 32X.
Any ideas as to why?

*I have logged 12+ hours into the game on my model 2 and my nomad.

Maybe you could try to clean the connectors on the 32X, both of the cartridge side and on the Genesis side.

Another fix that happen with many 32x. There are two internal ribbons that do have bad contacts with the time INSIDE the 32x. It usually affects only few games or make the 32x really unstable.

"Simple" fix : Open 32x, unplug clean and plug again the two ribbons on both side.

Hope it helps.

Just to throw my testimonial in, I've had no out-of-the-ordinary problems with the cart itself on any of my systems (though I haven't tried it on my Genesis 3). I've had one issue with the CD once, which happened after I already completed the game and was not really an issue afterwards, so it was an isolated incident.

Yeah of course :) I think this thread became a mess, I can't even track who talk about what. Of course the game run fine.
I'll lock it, hopefully we get reformulated questions in new threads later with proper answers.

Thanks :)
