Forest area after the rock climb

Sorry, I can't remember the proper names of each area.

Anyway, I get to a point with an imassable tree sprite (I know it is a sprite because it stays normal as the background changes going into battles). There is a quick dialog there amongst the characters. I have the saw, but I cannot use it, only equip it as a weapon. I have no healing items of any sort and my lives are almost depleted. There is nowhere or no way to replenish.

Help?

Go back, look for a hunting lodge/shed (still on the pine forest). Story will pick up from there.

Sorry, you are going to hate this, but if you manage to finish this area I think you might start liking the game again after that. Go to the house through the right exit of that map.

Why would I hate the prospect of liking the game... oh wait I see what you did there.

Just out of curiosity, do I have to make it to the tree first before I can go to the right? Because I didn't see any exits on the right area of the map. It was after looking around that area when I decided to go left and I found the tree. I keep getting ambushed by the pack of 5 enemies. The pack of 3 isn't so bad, I wish it would be only them.

OK I am not seeing any exits near the right side of the map after visiting the tree. Nothing has changed. I am able to go out the bottom right corner where I came in. I'm gonna need you guys to spell this out for me because the game provides no clues.

Unless I am supposed to go out the way I came. ????

To reach the cabin you must go back to the clearing near where you came in. Go north and follow the path to the east. That will take you to the hunters lodge.

Awesome, thanks guys. I am now grinding for cash to buy as much stuff as possible for my main 3 characters before I deal with the lake. I don't mind battles like this because I can retreat to the inn whenever I need to. At level 10 for my main 3, might get it up to 15 before the Lake.

Ha ha, OK. I have been wandering around the second forest gathering $$$ but I haven't found the cavern yet... just both exits and two guys demanding I be prepared before I enter the cavern.

My main three characters are on level 17 now and I am thinking on doing the Lake. Maybe I should get them up to 25 or 30 first. I also have 29 potions, a potion plus, 13 mana potions and 12 berries. Maybe I should buy more first.

Don't grind too much or the game will be too easy!
