Leveling up

Postby Joe Redifer on Sat Jan 15, 2011 3:59 pm

Sometimes when a character increases in level I notice that none of his/her stats have increased (life, magic, attack power, magic, etc) nor were any new attacks or magic learned. I assume that there must be a change somewhere or they wouldn't have increased a level. I take it there are levels where the character has minimal/no change and levels where the character has a lot of change? Is there a limit to the amount of levels I can have or where everything will stop changing for good? Most of my characters are at level 13 or 14, I believe.

Its because there is no display after the ",". So 55 AP is displayed same as 55.4 AP.
I think leveling is not exactly needed in Piersolar. Its more about the equipment and the fight strategy.

It grows from level to level.
Leveling at the beginning is very slow, but after the first 3rd of the game it gets very fast because enemies give you way more EXP points.

He is asking if there is a maximum level that the characters can reach.

I was under the same impression, however after I started taking notes I noticed that the HP/MP always change.

yeah, i was wondering if there was a highest level achievable.

or is this something I'm going to have to figure out myself? :P
if so, I'm going to prepare myself to grind until i can't grind anymore! (preferably when the game says I can't gain anymore levels)

Yeah I have not noticed much of a difference in leveling myself, although I am only level 4 now I think. (I know I have not been playing it enough).

I did notice that if an enemy took 60 damage for example, leveling up made it take 59 from me - not a huge difference.

There must be a point where you can level up to the point that enemies miss or take very little?

Sometimes in one round of attacks by the enemy, one of my guys will practically be dead, even after starting with full health. Damn enemies are kicking my ass. LOL

Actualy the first levels are the most notably. Because they get a lot of HP. You should take a look at the manual what the skills of your chars mean. Also items make the most difference.
