He played the game dozens of times, so if Zebbe says it is possible you canbelieve him. :)

By the way, I am stuck in the platform-puzzle myself atm.^^

Are you sure that is possible? I did not run from a battle and found that I could not afford all the best armour or weapons. I had to fight a bit near the entrances of most dungeons just to get the best equipment etc.

You don't really need all the best armour etc., it's just a good bonus to have when you head off on an expedition :).

Okay, who was responsible for the hidden platform? That was just sadistic! I don't know whether to yell at or congratulate you...

I told them to place some hint on the wall behind which the platform was hidden (like some small cracks, indicating possibility of entering), but obviously they thought it wouldn't be hardcore enough then.

While I somewhat agree I have to say it's not easy to enjoy it when you get "AMBUSH, AMBUSH OMG AMBUSH" every third second and have to reset the console every twentieth.. I mean there's only so much items you can afford and after a good hour of being stuck the poisonous snakes drains your supply of.. well, basically everything - including your will to live.. Yeah I admit being sucky at random-encounter-games, I just don't have the patience.
