As a former projectionist, I do not like blurry things so composite simply will not do.
On my Hitachi rear projection 52" 720P the picture is superb. Those horizontal lines are not visible!
Only when I take pictures do they show up on the digital shots. Even when I took pictures of my older
CRT 27" tv, I would get those horizontal lines. I can even see the lines through the viewfinder -
although they are not on the screen/tv itself!
I've tried taking pictures with and without the flash, and still can't get rid of those lines showing up.
I'll try again this weekend to take a few more shots of the menu screens etc...
All I can say is that the component hookup is much more crisp - I sit 10 -12 feet away on my couch
and have a big smile on my face now - I can see everything so much clearer!
