Having read about this game in Retro Gamer I'm very interested in giving this game a go and its really awesome to see a new Mega Drive game after so long It looks great and should be an essential part of any Mega Drive fan's collection ^^

i agree with you 100% i am sick of seeing people coming onto this forum and whining about that the game has not come out as quick as they would like they need to quit crying like babies and be very thankful that watermelon has even given them yet another shot at retaining this gem at a fair price and deal with the fact it will be released when they want to re release it again watermelon owes us nothing in fact it is we the gamers that owe them the thanks and gratitude for taking their own time and money to make such a great game and to re release it for a third time so all you people crying just shut up and wait for the the game just like all of us have to it is nobodies fault but your own (and i am referring to all the babies who keep crying that this has not been re released for a third time fast enough for them) that they did not buy the game on its first and second runs so get with the program and quit your crying you big babies and as Zebbe would say (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WL1lfSzgcAw) cheers watermelon i continue to support you all and i look forward to the third run of this great game cheers

You have it completely twisted. I also greatly appreciate the time taken to create this game, i think its a wonderful project and everyone over at watermelon should be proud. I'm not annoyed it's taking this long to release. If i was told this won't come out for another year i would be fine with that if it is a valid statement and it does come out in a year. The fact is we're told when a release is to be expected and it does not happen. It's called leading people on and it's annoying as piss. I take it as slightly disrespectful that to them it doesn't matter if they get our hopes up, they'll just release it next month or whenever it suits them. Don't get me wrong though, they should be releasing it whenever it suits them, it's their product, but don't lie to your customers. We're going to be the ones buying it after all.

look there is really no argument to be had here this happens all the time in the real world how many times have you gone to a game retailer pre ordered a game and it did not come in i am sure many of time has it has happen to me and even and in some cases some of the games got canceled all together so this is how it goes so that's life people in hell want ice water that does not mean they have the right to have it the bottom line is this for what ever the reason is that watermelon has not released it is really none of our business we are all on a need to basis and that being is when it will be re released for the third time had you been following the game from its humble beginnings true watermelon loyalist had to wait in great anticipation for 5 years so when people have to complain that they had to wait a few months really has no relevance at all not to mention this is a third run and they even are going a step further for the fans and making a game soundtrack disc which they really did not have to do but once again they always bring their A game when it comes to bringing perfection to the table if those who cant wait save your money and go buy one off eBay yes it will cost more but you wont have to come on to this forum and complain that it has not released when they said it would so in all honesty if i had to wait another year i would even if it was delayed month after month that's how it goes in the retail world look back at the once gaming RPG giant known as working designs or as they were more commonly known as working delays every game they developed was delayed and i mean every game some were delayed for more then a year but this never stop them from being one of the genres biggest and sought after and respected game designers of its era and their games are still highly sought after today buy avid RPG gamers & collectors as well as casual gamers and for those who complain that the wont to make sure they have money to buy it when it is released there's a simple solution its called save you money put it a side and dont spend it that's a real simple thing to do even my 4 year old daughter can and does do this so there is no excuse to say i could not get this game cause i did not have the money watermelon has lent more then enough time for people to put some funds aside for their purchase so on that note when it comes out it comes out but had it been me producing this game and i read about how all you are complaining that we did not release it fast enough i would not re release it a third time just to spite you all the complainers that is and force all those who complain as if watermelon owed it to them NOT i would just let them go buy it on eBay if they wanted it that bad well that's just me lol cheers and long live watermelon and as zebbes would say (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WL1lfSzgcAw

BTW you lost me about half way through so i ignored the second half of your text. But because something is done by a lot of people, in reference to delaying games, doesn't make it right. That's like saying you shouldn't murder someone, and your argument is that it happens all the time so it must be ok. I have never said watermelon owe anyone anything so stop putting words in our mouth. The bottom line is, I like to be able to take people's word for things so if i'm told something i usually expect it. As it turns out, I should have learnt by now not to expect that. BTW i know all about this game and that this a third release, ps. im pretty sure third edition is not including the soundtrack. Correct me if im wrong maybe things have been updated on that front. Does anyone have any more information on that?

Guys chill out its a video game not the last drink of water on the planet. Sure I want one too and I do believe in the saying "the chase is so much more fun than the having". Just check back periodically and see if its ready. If anything this alone has kept me going. Well that and the comments of excitement here.

Sorry about the delay. Whatever I said was the plan then, but things got in the way. The release will, as of now, be in January. You may think we can just release it "anytime we like", but it's more complicated than that and you'll see why when the release has happened.
