If anyone is still having trouble with audio cutting out or skipping even with the burned CD-R, try out my uploaded iso. I put together an iso using Fonzie's original upload but adding a dummy file to expand the cd's file size to completely fill a standard 80 minute CD-R. Why? because the unused portion of a CD-R can tend to make a CD-Rom's laser malfunction trying to seek the data part of the disc, especially with an older machine such as the Sega CD. If you've ever burned a disc to play on Dreamcast you might know what I'm talking about. Anyway, the Pier Solar enhanced audio CD only uses up about half of a standard CD-R, so while the burned iso worked very well for me, it would still cut out audio now and then or take longer to load when switching tracks. With this expanded CD-R, I was getting more reliable results from my old Model 1 Sega CD unit. Your results may vary of course, but if you are still having trouble with the enhanced audio give mine a shot.http://www.megaupload.com/?d=V0KWUG80
I recommend burning at the lowest possible speed for best results. I have tested this image with Nero and ImgBurn, it should work fine with other recording software. Keep in mind this iso when unzipped is about 702 MB, and has a time that is 79:58:68 - about 1.5 seconds below 80 Minutes. If your software gives you an error that it won't fit on a disc you might need to change some of your settings or software to record.
Hopefully this iso helps - even if only for one person to enjoy their copy of Pier Solar.
